Gettin' ready for the March Meet
The guys have been busy down at the shop: pimping out the ... ahem... refurbished trailer, doing all the usual preparations for the car, and maybe a little extra careful evaluation in that area as well.
The test and tune is March 2-4, which, in addition to really testing and tuning, is just another excuse to get away for a fun race weekend! As of this writing, the 10-day Weather Channel forecast ends on March 1, showing scattered showers and 60% chance precipitation. But that's 10 days away, and those weather types are known to change their minds about forecasts.
I wonder - will the Tignacs be testing out their new rig that weekend as well? Maybe I can get Leslie to send me a photo of it to post here. Stay tuned.
Dun da da daaaaaa! At the actual March Meet, Robert Hight will be the Grand Marshal of the event. I have to wonder, will John Force be making an appearance as well? Perhaps Adria (Hight's wife and Force's daughter) will be there, and who knows what other team members will attend the event? I know a couple people who sure would get a kick out of Force's presence.
I think we're all looking forward to kicking off the season in style - and it sure would be nice to start with a win!
We'll be sure to get plenty of footage so don't forget to check back for the video posts!

Another video clip - celebration drive
After winning a race against the Mighty Mouse (Gruzen) team, the Beach Racing team drives down the return road to pick up the driver and car at the end of the track. Some celebrating occurs.
